In AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH nimmt James Cameron Du und alle Zuschauer erneut mit auf ein immersives Abenteuer zurück nach Pandora.
Der Film folgt dem ehemaligen Marine-Soldaten Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), der jetzt der Anführer der Na’vi ist, der Kriegerin Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) und ihrer Familie.
Die Produktion basiert auf einem Drehbuch von James Cameron, Rick Jaffa und Amanda Silver, nach einer Geschichte von Cameron, Jaffa, Silver, Josh Friedman und Shane Salerno. Der Film wurde von James Cameron und Jon Landau produziert.
